State of Deadman in Blast Furnace Hearth and Its Internal Phase Distribution Characteristics

The state of deadman in hearth is important for the long campaign life blast furnace (BF). In order to clarify influence on sidewall erosion, corresponding relationship between shape and erosion was studied, fundamental reason difference analyzed, mechanism slag-coke interface iron-coke coke explored based phase distribution deadman. results show that: circumferential bulge at root a common feature BFs, this main serious sidewall, area corresponds position shows dynamic evolution law sinking floating under action force smelting process BF, depth slag iron level has greatest central voidage BFs which same state. Slag-coke commonly exist hearth. dissolution reaction makes carbon continuously migrate into molten iron, graphitization degree increase, easy pulverize, deterioration renewal enrichment harmful element K expand crack, matrix easier peel off, accelerates coke.
